Initiation fee $150.00 $75.00 annual dues.
Membership applications are approved the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 P.M.
before the board meeting. Orientations held the 2nd Saturday at 9:00 A.M. in the
Club House unless otherwise scheduled.
All memberships are adjusted to expire on May 31st of each year. The first years
dues are pro rated at $6.25 per month from application approval month to the next
May 31st. Dues of $75.00
are due June 1st of every year thereafter.
Make checks or money order payable to Black Diamond Gun Club or BDGC.
To be a member of BDGC, you are required to either be a NRA member or be a current
member of one or more of the above mentioned organizations. If you are not a NRA
member, membership can be applied for through the BDGC. Include with your appli-
cation, an addition $35.00 & the club will process your NRA membership.
Upon approval, each new member will complete an orientation to the BDGC.

READ & SIGN REVERSE SIDE OF APPLICATION (application will not be accepted unless signed &
dated by applicant). Fees MUST be paid at time of application or it will not be voted on
until received. I do hereby waive any and all claims for damage against Black Diamond Gun
Club (BDGC), its members, officers or owners of any area where BDGC activities may take
place, arising from my participation in any BDGC activity. I further agree to abide by
all safety regulations of BDGC and I understand that failure to comply with said regula-
tions would result in my suspension from BDGC, or removal from the activity. I further
certify that I am over 18 years of age or have the permission to participate and am
accompanied by a legal guardian or parent during my participation in BDGC activities,
that I have never been convicted of a crime of violence, nor am I currently under indict-
ment for a felony. I further state that the skills learned through BDGC will be used for
sport or legitimate self-defense. I understand that I will not be allowed to participate
in BDGC activities unless BDGC has this Waiver of Damages completed by me or my legal
guardian or parent in its possession prior to my registering to participate in said
activities.
BLACK DIAMOND GUN CLUB MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
I, the undersigned agree to follow the safety and membership rules listed below:
Upon entering and leaving the club, I will always use my gate card. This rule
does not apply during regular business hours or during special functions.
I understand that I am allowed to bring a guest and introduce that guest to
the club facilities. I will be in direct supervision of their actions at all
times. Abuse of the guest privileges will result in revoking or restricting my
guest privileges.
Members of my immediate family, spouse and siblings under 18 years of age, are
welcome any time while in my presence and under my direct supervision.
I understand that sharing a membership or gate access (lending my gate card to
anyone including family member) is cause for automatic termination of membership.
Lost gate card fee is $5.00.
I understand that EAR AND EYE protection is required on all ranges.
RIFLE RANGE RULES
I agree to follow all safety rules listed at the rifle range.
I understand there will be no handling of firearms in any manner, and all shooters
will remain behind the red line when anyone is down range, or while a cease fire
has been declared. All actions will be open, magazines out, chambers cleared and
guns will be flat on the bench, in the rack or boxed. Violation of this rule can
result in termination of membership without refund on the first offense.
I understand members who do not obey the red line rule are not welcome in our
club and their membership will be terminated.
I will insist that everyone else on the rifle range follow the red line rule.
If they refuse, I shall report them to the clubs leadership.
I will shoot only at paper targets. I realize that tin cans, bottles, clay
targets and other objects are not proper targets and become trash left on the
range.
I agree to do my best to insure that all bullets stay on the rifle range by
placing all targets high enough on the target frames so that my bullets will hit
the dirt berm behind the target. I understand that bullets hitting the ground
before the berm can ricochet off the range and could harm someone.
I will never load my gun until I am ready to shoot and keep my finger off the
trigger until I am on target.
I understand that the ranges are open only when a Range Safety Officer is present
and that the RSO has complete authority over the ranges.
SHOTGUN RANGE
I agree to follow the shotgun safety rules displayed inside and outside the
clubhouse.
I agree to have my shotgun action open except when actually shooting or when
placing a break action shotgun in gun rack.
I will never close my gun until ready to shoot and will keep my finger off the
trigger until I am ready to shoot.
I agree that my shotgun will be empty of ammo and the action open when changing
stations or when someone goes to the trap house.
I will never load more than one shell at a time except when shooting doubles or
continental.
I will not shoulder my firearm or let someone else shoulder it unless on the
shotgun range.

The ranges are CLOSED during PITA Shoots, Continental League Shoots & Police Shoots.
Other closures may occur for BDGC sponsor events or rental of the club grounds for fee.
Orientation is required prior to receiving your gate access card. Orientations are done
on the second Saturday @ 9:00am. No appointment necessary.
BDGC is a volunteer club; please donate time for the work party or BDGC events.
Active participation is expected of all members; please see an officer for ways to help
